With Innovation Education's after-school care, students are given a productive space to complete their homework. Our tutors are trained to follow a hands-on approach with their students, ensuring that their students not only complete their homework, but understand it as well. Parents do not have to worry about helping their children with homework after a long workday, but instead are able to enjoy time with their children. Our staff is equipped with every Common Core book that their students are given, providing students with the same resources they would have inside of the classroom.
Qualified Tutors and Low Student Ratios
Contrasting other after-school care programs, Innovation Education's tutors are trained for the grade level of your student, not K-12, ensuring that your student is given effective, efficient tutoring. Tutors are assigned separate grade levels, instead of alternating between grades. Student-to-tutor ratios are dramatically smaller than other care providers, as well.
Progress Reports
With parental consent, tutors are required to check every student's Powerschool and student planner to keep up to date with their progress. Tutors remain in regular contact with parents throughout the school year, notifying them of their student's grades and behavior in class. Teachers communicate regularly with tutors, sharing curriculum and insight from the school day.
Enriching Activities
After homework is completed, Innovation Education offers enrichment to its students. Innovation Education offers a variety of enriching activities, ranging from foreign language classes to yoga. Students are encouraged to explore and become excited about school with activities that reach beyond the typical classroom setting.
